With so many friends getting married this year it is always relevant to talk about this special day. For this blog post, I bring you some great tips to feeling your best on your wedding day.

Planning a wedding is no easy feat!  From cake tastings to dress fittings and everything in between, at times, the hours you’re putting in can make it feel like a full-time job.  However, if you truly want to make “The Best Day Ever,” just that, you need to invest as much of your time, if not more, into a self-care routine.  Looking good starts from the inside and you want to be glowing with happiness on. Below are a few tips that will ensure you are living your best life on your wedding day!

Develop an Exercise Routine

While it may feel like you have zero time between planning a wedding and all of life’s other happenings, working an exercise routine into your schedule will pay off, especially when it comes to combating the stress of wedding planning!  If you and your partner have similar schedules, consider taking a workout class together! These days there are plenty to choose from for all skill levels! If your significant other can’t join you, grab a friend! If time is an issue, consider a HIIT class to get your sweat on and still have time to get your grocery shopping done!

Get Enough Sleep

The days leading up to your wedding may seem like a blur.  It’s likely you’ll have meetings with vendors, phone calls, and constant emails flooding your inbox.  All this may interfere with your sleep pattern, which in turn can negatively affect you on many levels.  Lack of sleep can not only impact you mentally but also physically.  You don’t want to be walking down the aisle with bags under his eyes!  Even worse, not getting enough sleep can cause your immune system to weaken, leaving you at a higher risk of getting sick.  The only tissues that should be used on your wedding day are the ones wiping away happy tears!

Establish a Grooming/Beauty Regime

This one may seem like a no-brainer, but all the stress of planning can take a major toll on your aesthetic!  In order to look flawless in photos, I suggest weekly face masks that are a great way to keep your skin looking right and tight. Also, make sure you are using the right products for your skin is crucial. See all the products I used for my own wedding routine. Your groom doesn’t get a free pass here either, you’ll want his hair looking thick and his teeth to be glowing as well!  Keep in mind; besides memories, photos will be the only sentiments left from your special day so both of you should look your best in them!

Be Yourself

Remember, when it comes down to the nitty-gritty, this day is about you, your partner, and all the love surrounding you.  Marriage is a huge commitment and just knowing that you’ll be spending the rest of your life with the person you love should give you all the confidence you need to survive and enjoy this special day.  Your wedding day will go by quickly so remember to have fun, take it all in, and don’t sweat the small stuff!
