Waiting for spring

We are in the second week of April and spring is nowhere to be seen. The weather is so grey and cold which makes it so hard for everyone’s mood. It’s so strange but I will admit that March gave us some sunnier days giving us hope that winter is over.

Since moving to Ireland, 7 years ago, I have seen my mood change so much depending on the weather and I always find myself being homesick and longing for summer every April.

I blame it on the fact that all around the world, and especially in Greece, is getting warmer but in Ireland and Northern Europe, we are still in winter mode.

Will I ever get rid of this feeling? Probably not.

At least the good thing with spring in Ireland is that we get longer days and let’s admit it,  it is a little bit warmer so we don’t have to wear, hats and gloves anymore or our big puffy jackets. This is the season to get rid of the dark coloured big parka jackets and start investing in colourful and more fashionable coats.

This spring you will see me wear my new favourite dusty blue aviator jacket by Oxendales. Its colour is so unique and different from the usual aviator jackets you would find in the market so when I saw it I had to make it mine.

For this shoot, I paired it with some black skinny jeans and my Vans for a casual and easy to wear look.
