Ruffles Ruffles everywhere…. But what happens if you are not into this trend…
Anywhere you turn you see ruffles. There is no top or dress with no ruffles these days. It is great if you love them, it is great if this style suits you, but what happens when you tried all the different tops and dresses out there and you just feel a little bit silly wearing a cold shoulder top with lots of ruffles for a day out in Dublin. I am sure it would be different if you are on holidays in a very hot climate, then the ruffle style is more appropriate, I believe.
Well, I might be one of the few people that ruffle tops or dresses don’t work with me. I feel strange wearing them and although this look is great on everyone else, I am not feeling myself wearing it. So as you can imagine I have been feeling a bit left out from all this ruffle madness.
After a lot of research, I found the top that works for me by Shien.com so I can finally be on trend (The pressure of being on trend!)
It is easy to wear, suitable for work, does not have bell sleeves so it is more comfortable for every day. It has two colours, dark blue and light blue giving me the option to style it in different ways.
The ruffle details are subtle and placed at the most strategic area, hiding any imperfections.
So for me, this is the perfect ruffle top!
Pair it with a figure – hugging skirt or skinny jean trousers like I have here, and you have the perfect look for spring and for the cool summer days while still being on trend and fashionable.
